The RITAR HR12-48W (12V48W) is an HR (High Rate) Series Valve Regulated Lead-Acid (VRLA) battery designed for heavy-load discharge applications. The datasheet specifies an 8-year design life in float service.
The HR Series uses strong grids, thick plates, and specially designed active material to achieve lower internal resistance, lower self-discharge, high power output, and longer service life. RITAR states that the HR Series offers 30% more power output than the standard series. It is intended for high-power standby applications including data centers, UPS and EPS systems.
